Dana Lorenz is one of the fastest rising talents in the jewelry design industry. As the favorite collaborator of popular ateliers like Thakoon and Proenza Schouler the creative designer is ready to take over the lead and furnish the style pack with statement accessories worth rocking at every special event. The Fenton Spring/Summer 2012 jewelry collection is inspired by the colorful fantasies of Dana Lorenz who tried to fuse architecture and modern cultural elements in the same creative process.

In an interview offered by 'Vogue' the jewelry-maker revealed the following details behind the creation of the latest necklace, earrings and cuffs parade, “I’ve been obsessed with Cecily Brown’s paintings recently,[...] It became about reflecting the colors, geometry and general spirit of South Beach after that.” 'Night Passage' is the name of the painting which illustrates the signature shades used by Miami's Art Deco architecture.

Baroque elements are combined with romantic details and chromatic options in order to tone down the edgy statement effect of these jewelry models. Women of all ages will be able to sport the latest Fenton jewelry styles as the secret weapons to flaunt their trend-awareness. The runway was indeed packed with oversized and eye-popping necklaces and cuffs which attracted the attention of style fans who are not afraid of rising above the crowd with their look. Skim through the coolest compositions presented below in order to spot your dream Fenton jewelry piece which can be easily embedded into your signature outfits.

The color palette definitely suits the tone trends of the moment. Taupe, coral, lemon moonstones and turquoise are used to add femininity and a modern flair to these accessories. Dana Lorenz also revealed that, playing with shades was “very playful[...] I usually go for a dark strength in my work, but spring is about color and to me, these pastels still feel powerful.”
